Julie Crotty, Partner

For the past 15 years Julie has helped clients develop and execute strategic PR and marketing programs that directly address business objectives. She has worked with both emerging start ups and recognized brands to establish market leadership and awareness. Her no nonsense approach has earned the respect of clients and media alike as each communications campaign is customized to meet the needs of each individual audience.

Julie is particularly adept at breaking down technical content and transforming it into interesting, relevant information that can be used across the communications spectrum to establish thought leadership, drive market awareness, and drown out competitive “noise”.

Her clients over the years have included Congnizant (NASDAQ: CTSH), EMC (NYSE: EMC), Harbor One Bank, Kalido, and Tyco Retail Solutions among many others. Her work has been recognized by both the League of American Communications Professionals and the Public Relations Society of America.

Prior to founding Attune Communications, Julie served as an independent PR and Social Media Consultant. Before that she worked her way through the PR agency world last serving as an Account Supervisor at Horn Group where she managed integrated PR and marketing programs for a range of clients.

Julie holds a B.S. in Business Communications from Bentley College. She is a reluctant hockey mom to two young boys who share her love of Boston sports, but not her love of basketball (despite her best efforts!).

Sarah Murray, Partner

With more than 17 years of strategic communications experience, Sarah has spearheaded comprehensive PR and Communication programs for clients ranging from nimble start-ups to well established players in both the technology and consumer industries.   Her skillful approach to building and maintaining long lasting relationships with key influencers have helped clients achieve positive visibility and her results oriented attitude ensures each program stays focused on business objectives.

Sarah spent eight years at Horn Group, a strategic communications firm specializing, in public relations and digital marketing, most recently serving as an Account Supervisor.  While at Horn Group, she honed her skills as a media maven, generating top tier coverage for clients in publications including Bloomberg Businessweek, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, and as customer program specialist, spearheading a number of successful customer reference programs to support overall communications efforts.  Chartered with managing full account teams and budgets of approximately $300k/year for each client, Sarah client’s included Novell (NASDAQ: NOVL), AMR Research, Netegrity (now CA), and Employease (now ADP).

Prior to founding Attune Communications, Sarah worked as an independent consultant for four years managing and executing diverse marketing and PR programs with top tier companies including IDC Insights, an IDG company, BreakingPoint, and Skinner Inc.

Sarah holds a B.A .in Communications with honors from Stonehill College.  She is married and lives on the South Shore with her three children.  In her free time (!?) she enjoys cooking, entertaining, spending time with her family and honing her skills as a wine connoisseur.
